Security hooklocks for vans

A hook-shaped bolt and reinforced keep create another strong locking point.

Additional van-door protection

Hooklocks — supplied & fitted

A hooklock has a substantial hook-shaped bolt that engages with a reinforced keep on the vehicle body. Operated separately from the van’s central locking, it adds another locking point to suitable sliding and rear doors.

We fit model-specific hooklocks and can advise on door positions, keyed-alike options where available, and pairing with anti-peel protection.

Key features

  • Independent key operation even when the factory central locking is unlocked.
  • Hook-shaped bolt catches into a substantial receiving keep, resisting separation of the door from its frame.
  • Security cylinders add resistance to picking and drilling attempts.
  • Available for selected side-loading and rear-door positions.

Frequently asked questions

How is a hooklock different from a straight deadlock?

A hooklock uses a hook-shaped bolt that engages a receiving keep, while a conventional deadlock normally uses a straight bolt.

Where are hooklocks normally fitted?

Common positions include suitable sliding and rear doors. The appropriate position depends on the vehicle body and door construction.

Can hooklocks be combined with anti-peel brackets?

Yes, where compatible. The two products protect against different types of door attack and can complement one another.
