Independent mechanical security
Van Deadlocks — extra protection for every stop
A separately keyed deadlock adds a locking point to the van door without relying on the original central locking. Turning the security key moves a solid bolt into a reinforced receiver, providing an additional physical barrier at the side or rear door.

A hooklock has a substantial hook-shaped bolt that engages with a reinforced keep on the vehicle body. Operated separately from the van’s central locking, it adds another locking point to suitable sliding and rear doors.
We fit model-specific hooklocks and can advise on door positions, keyed-alike options where available, and pairing with anti-peel protection.

Sliding door security
Anti-Peel Door Kits
Anti-peel brackets help stop a thief levering the top corner of a sliding door away from the van body. Interlocking components engage when the door closes, holding the door edge in position and distributing attack force into the reinforced door frame.
Key features
- Reinforces the leading upper edge of a side-loading door.
- Helps resist corner bending and forced separation of the sliding door from the body.
- Works particularly well with a suitable hooklock at the rear of the same door.
- Fitment position, side and bracket design vary with the vehicle.
Best used alongside a hooklock
For suitable vans, a high-position hooklock towards the rear edge of the same sliding door provides complementary protection. Anti-peel kits may be offered for near-side or off-side sliding doors and in high or low positions, according to the vehicle-specific kit.

Van door protection plates
Internal & external security shields
Protection plates reinforce vulnerable door and lock areas against drilling, punching and other forced-entry attacks. Internal stainless-steel shields are hidden within the door for discreet protection; external shields are visible and may deter an attempted attack before it starts.
Different shield shapes and material thicknesses are available for suitable vehicles. We can advise whether internal shielding, external plates or a combination is most appropriate. No shield can guarantee a door is attack-proof.
Internal versus external shields
- Internal plates sit behind the factory trim to help protect latch linkages, lock barrels and release mechanisms without altering the outside appearance.
- External plates reinforce vulnerable handle and lock areas, offer a visible deterrent and may conceal suitable existing damage.

Internal shielding — examples and installations
The protection sits inside the van door, helping reinforce vulnerable components without an unsightly external plate. Fitment depends on the vehicle.
Additional vehicle security
OBD protection — help prevent unauthorised key coding
The OBD diagnostic socket gives technicians access to vehicle systems. Criminals may also try to use diagnostic equipment to programme a new key. An appropriate OBD protection device restricts unauthorised access or use of that connection, adding another layer of protection against key-programming theft.

Fleet van security & on-site fitting
Fleet enquiries welcome. We supply and fit deadlocks, hooklocks, slam locks and complementary security for businesses operating multiple vans, including courier fleets, multi-drop delivery drivers, parcel delivery services, trades and commercial vehicle operators.
For qualifying fleet jobs, we can arrange on-site fitting at your business premises, subject to location, vehicle types and scheduling. We normally consider site visits for three or more vans. Individual van fitting is usually carried out at our Rugby workshop.
